-Your card must be ready when checking out, renewing or requesting an item. We must be strict about this rule to provide accuracy and privacy for your records.

-You may keep your books and books on CD for three weeks, and DVD's for one week.

-You may check out up to five DVD's at a time, twenty books on CD, and sixty books.

-Late fees are $ .25 a day for books, and $1 .00 for DVD's. Feel Free to use the bookdrop for DVDs. 

-You may renew books by calling us at 439-1553 using your 14 digit library card number (it's on the back of the card at the bottom).

-You may also renew by going to http://minerva.maine.edu/ and clicking on the Patron Account tab at the lower part of the screen, and then entering your name and card number in the appropriate spaces.  From there, you click on the books checked out link, and select the items you want to renew and click update.  The new due date will appear once you do this.

-Books on holds lists and all DVD's may not be renewed because of high demand and fair usage.  You may place your name back on the list if you are not finished.

-Some books borrowed from other libraries may be due back before three weeks, and may be restricted from any renewals. Check your date due slip for the date.  Please, call us if you have any problems at 439-1553.

-If fines exceed $5.00, we cannot check any books out to you until you pay down below that level.
